Club A?s 28th Anniversary

The current Club Alliance building has been opened for 28 years and we?re celebrating all month with special events and giveaways. Be sure to check your receipts after making any purchase (minimum $5) in Italian Gardens, C Street Grille, the 3rd Floor Sports Bar, Sharky?s BBQ and Sharky?s Bar. If the ?check? number on your receipt ends in ?2? or ?8? you?ll be an instant winner for a special prize, and you will be entered in a drawing to win a four person trip to Disneyland.

Our weekly Saturday Bingo will include extra special prize giveaways every week, plus a Special Jackpot on Saturday, May 26.

So it?s your birthday in May? Celebrate in Italian Garden?s on your birthday with a complimentary meal from our dinner menu. Your meal will include a soft drink, appetizer, entr?e and dessert. Anyone born on May 16 will receive a dinner for two on their birthday in Italian Gardens!

Memorial Day Weekend Rock Climbing and Camping, Ogawayama in Nagano Prefecture (Intermediate)

Sunday to Monday, May 27 to 28, from 0330 (Day 1) to 2200 (Day 2)
Enjoy the Memorial Day Weekend climbing above a fresh green forest. Ogawayama is the ?Little Yosemite? of Japan and is where Japanese Free Climbing history started. The picturesque campground is surrounded by granite cliffs and white birches, making it an ideal weekend getaway! A short hike is all that stands between you and the rock face. The Outdoor Recreation Center will provide tents, and all of the rock climbing equipment you will need. We will have a briefing for this trip on Thursday, May 24 at 1700 in the Outdoor Recreation Center. $150 per person includes instruction and transportation, no meals.

Keelboat Sailing Class
Friday thru Sunday, May 25 thru 27
Classes are held on Friday Evenings from 1800 to 2100, Saturday and Sunday from 0900 to 1600. Only $200 per customer. There is no prerequisite for this class. Learn to sail in a medium sized keelboat. Topics include basic sail handling, basic navigation rules, boating safety and more. American Sailing Association certification will be awarded upon successful completion. Class Registration is required for all classes. For more information, please call 243-4155 or 046-896-4155.

Single Sailor Liberty Program: Wallyball
Friday, May 25 at 1900 in the Fleet Gym Racquetball Court
Come out and practice your Top Gun style Volleyball moves without the pesky sand getting in your shoes. This combination of volleyball and racquetball is a high-action, fun sport that you will want to play again and again.

Friday Campground Drop Off
Camping in Ikego is a great way to spend the summer, but getting there on a Friday night can be more hassle than fun. Rent a cabin for Friday night and MWR will provide transportation to the campgrounds (Note: this does not include return transportation).?Visit the Outdoor Recreation Center or call 243-5732 for more information.

The Sauna Room in the Men?s Locker Room at Purdy Fitness Center is CLOSED now thru Monday, May 28 due to maintenance.
